Stamp of Approval!!

Our little one is 6 months old already! I can't believe how fast they grow up. She did great at her Docs appt and he was happy to see her so healthy! Stats: 19lbs, 27 inches, 45cm head - all over the 90th percentile! She has already been eating her cereal but now she is clear to eat all veggies and fruits. She will be VERY excited about that! She is such a happy little girl. We are so blessed to have her in our life. Here she is right after her appt. She was so proud of herself too! LOOK

Fangs and Food

After weeks of drooling and sad stories, Grace finally got her two bottom teeth! (She is still drooling non stop but at least the pain is gone). She is also eating big girl oatmeal cereal now, sometimes with added bananas or peas. She gets SOO mad when its all gone, I think its hilarious. Don't worry, we're not starving her! I weighed her the other day...18.2 pounds at 5 1/2 months old. She is rolling over a TON now and can sit up for a few seconds on her own. Check out these adorable pics. I can't help but kiss and squish her!

Yummy cereal and peas!!

2008 - Our top 10 joys!

I can't believe it is already 2009...we have had a lot of joy this year. Of course our #1 was the birth of our baby girl, Grace Olivia in August. She is such a happy, healthy girl and I can never kiss her enough. She is getting so big and responsive, I love it!! #2 I turned the big 24 in September. # 3 Grace's baby blessing in October. #4 Grace's first Halloween (which we already posted pics of). #5 Kimball turned the big 28 in November. #6 Thanksgiving in Utah with my family. #7 Kimball graduated the Salt River Fire Academy on Dec 19th and started shift work the 22nd. It was a LONG and grueling 17 weeks but we got through it and our relationship as a couple has grown tremendously. The Lord really does have a way of helping us find "joy in the journey." # 8 Christmas in California with Mom, Dad, Amy and Arlo's Family. #9 Brought in the New Year with Grandma/Grandpa Jorgensen and Aunt Amy in Ca. #10 Our faith and love for the Lord has continued to grow and we are grateful to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I just now realized after posting this that nothing exciting happened before we had Grace I guess! We were both just working and sleeping. She has sure changed our lives for good and I don't even remember life before her! Here are a few memorable pics of the past year that we havent posted yet. We love you all and are blessed to have you in our lives!!

August 20th, 2008 - 4 days after I had Grace. Kimball, Grace, Me and Mom finally leaving the hospital. I look...swollen and tired, haha. Grace in pink about 6 weeks old

My birthday dinner (Sept 13th) at the Cheesecake Factory. Yum Yum!!

Grace's baby blessing - October 12th, 2008. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit from CA! The dress was originally mine, made by Great Grandma Hannah Oldroyd.

Her first airplane trip just outside the door, Thanksgiving day mad she didnt get any turkey, the temple lights in cold cold Salt Lake City, Sunday best for Chloe's blessing day, Girls night out at Olive Garden (minus Kathleen, Stepha and Amy).

Kimball's boss (w/ City of Mesa) Carl and his wife Susan at Academy Graduation. (Mesa is where he got laid off due to cut-backs when he was a Fire Inspector. Then he decided to apply to be a firefighter w/Salt River. Out of 600 applicants they took 20!!! Thats how blessed we have been.) Kimball looking sharp in uniform, waiting to graduate.

The Classic Jorgensen caroling night. We always go around to the neighbors houses and sing Christmas songs. I look forward to it EVERY year. Glad we were able to make it!! Kimball showed up (after a 6 hour drive) and surprised us... 3 minutes before we left, good timing huh!!?? Grace with Santa Claus at our ward Christmas party!

New Years Eve. We played the game, "Life" and Amy won (as you can tell its BRAND new). We also had mormon booze (martinelli's), peanut butter M&M's, red vines and skittles. Grace thought she was a big girl and could stay up...didn't quite make it to midnight though.

One of the Christmas shots...she was TICKED! Maybe we should have sent this one?? My fav part is that I look like NOTHING is wrong and Kimball thinks its hilarious. Love it, totally us!

Bragging Rights!

Its been a while since I've posted anything. Our little girl is getting so big. She just had her 4 month appt and doc said she's looking great. Let me brag about her stats: 17.2 pounds (95th), 25 inches (70th) and 43 cm head. She is a really good eater, obviously...and a pretty good sleeper too. Here are a few pics of her, just being adorable!! She is very strong and has been since day one, you can even see her standing!! Also, if you look closely at the head shot you can see her curly hair!! I'm hoping it stays like that! She is a good little happy girl!
